Exhibitions

This year at Biela 6, we have prepared three exhibitions of illustrators and comic artists for you.

Brian Terrero – Draw Your Brushes!

An exhibition of illustrations and paintings created using both traditional and unconventional artistic techniques and materials from the artwork of Brian Terrero. The selection includes fragments from the fantasy world of the tabletop game Draw Steel as well as personal projects presented in their original form.

Brian is a comic book artist and illustrator with an immense passion for the ritual act of getting covered in ink and paint. He is fascinated by mythology, legends, and folklore, which often inspire his work. His cover illustrations can be found on many Slovak books, and he has contributed illustrations to both Slovak and international publications as well as TTRPG games.
You will also be able to meet him at the Artist Alley during PANEL.

Filip Horník – Smolenický fičúr

A selection of digital illustrations and short comics by Filip Horník. The exhibition offers a glimpse into a world of wild comics and fantastical creatures that the author either dreamed up or encountered in the forests of the Carpathia.

An illustrator and graphic designer who tries not to bore (himself or others) with his work. He mainly specializes in children’s book and magazine illustration, as well as graphic design. He draws Joško Mrkvička for the magazine Slniečko and the comic Eurodetektívi for the magazine Bublina. He is a member of the Association of Illustrators (ASIL). With his literary debut, “Jelenia hlava,” he has joined the ranks of writers of historical novels and fantasy. His sculptures were part of the “Essence of Beauty” exhibition in Saint Étienne. If there is any exotic form of art, he has probably already tried it. Filip Horník is annoying with his broad range of interests, like a fly. Do you remember how you liked classmates in elementary school for everything they knew? How much do you enjoy not having to meet them anymore? Filip Horník is learning to play the clarinet.
