Dušan Taragel

Dušan Taragel studied cultural theory at the Faculty of Philosophy, Comenius University in Bratislava. He has been publishing in magazines since 1988. He debuted with a book of 14 dark humor stories from contemporary urban life, Fairy Tales for Naughty Children and Their Caring Parents. Together with P. Pišťanka, he published the short story collection Sekerou & nožom, which includes older, previously published stories from 1981–1991. He is the editor and co-creator of the detective comic Roger Krowiak, participated in the creation of the publication Slovensko 002, compiled the short story anthologies Sex po slovensky 1–2, and authored the textual part of the comic Jánošík.
