I am a student of animation at the Academy of Performing Arts (VŠMU) with a (un)healthy fixation on the Western genre and the Middle Ages. Lukács Hajnalka
My name is Hajni Lukács, and I primarily focus on illustration for children. In my work, I enjoy focusing on animals, as well as creating various characters and a sense of playfulness—I see illustration as a visual game. An important part of my creative process is my relationship with materials and direct interaction with them, not just working digitally. My pieces are created through a combination of color linocut, natural textures, and are then further developed and refined with digital drawing. I enjoy technical accidents, which I intentionally allow during the printing of individual linocut layers, and I consider them a natural part of the final expression of the illustration.

Terez studied animation in Zlín and graphic design at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava. Today, she works in illustration, design, and graphics, and occasionally also in jewelry, ceramics, and tattooing. She draws both traditionally and digitally. She is inspired by dreamlike worlds, linocuts, mythology, insects, and psychology. Her work has appeared in Bublina magazine and in the Pomimo comics anthology.
